The Role

We are looking for an Administrator to join the SMSF Administration Team in providing accounting and administration services to financial advisers and clients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing processing and administration of SMSFs to help the SMSF Administration Team deliver timely information and reports to financial advisers and clients.
  • Ongoing processing of bank transactions in BGL Simple Fund 360 or Class Super
  • Regular reconciliation for investment holdings and bank account balances
  • Liaise with financial advisers and clients to prepare or obtain appropriate supporting documents
  • Monitor and manage data feeds into BGL Simple Fund 360
  • Maintenance of client data to ensure they are up-to-date
  • Assist with preparation of activity statements, PAYG payment summaries and transfer balance account reporting
  • Assist with preparation of SMSF financial statements and annual returns as required
  • Attend to queries from financial advisers, clients and other stakeholders

 

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:

  • Accounting or business-related tertiary qualification
  • 1+ year administration experience in SMSF or accounting preferred
  • Proficiency in BGL Simple Fund 360 and MS Office
  • Excellent attention to details and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving/analytical ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Positive & flexible attitude and willingness to learn
