The Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst Lead in our Transformation division. You will be a key team member within a transition project to enable and deliver separation activities for recently acquired entities and their integration with IOOF business units.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Project Director in the project delivery of the Migration and Transition business engagement activities
  • Manage the identification, assessment, documentation and communication of Migration and Transition business requirements to enable and deliver separation activities for recently acquired entities and their integration with IOOF business units
  • Recommending business priorities, and advising the business on options and risks
  • Conducting extensive research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business unit, and ensure that solutions are feasible considering stringent timelines.
  • Analysing the impact of proposed solutions holistically, developing use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team, and contributing a business or process perspective during design reviews
  • Working within the stakeholder engagement framework for the project - Communicate these requirements to key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of the project's or program's objectives and benefits


To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:

  • 7+ years business analysis experience on Agile, Lean and Waterfall projects.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience
  • Pension, Superannuation and Investments Knowledge preferable
  • Prior experience on large scale, complex transformation projects
  • Strong communication, facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to gather and translate stakeholder requirements to detailed user stories
  • Advanced MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint user
