The Role

The Systems Engineer will be to provide infrastructure and operations support to maintain Sailpoint IdentityNow, which is our Identity and Access Management platform. As an IAM Systems Engineer, you will be expected to analysis, design, implement and maintain all layers of the IAM applications including applications on-boarding, automation of application provisioning, management of disconnected systems, generating reports and improvement initiatives across the access management platform. You will be working with our Critical Infrastructure, architects, applications owners, Security and Service Delivery Operations to manage IAM solution that offer value to the business without compromising on risk or quality. Currently we have exciting Transformation and improvement initiatives in this domain, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in access management & provisioning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and administration of our IAM platform.
  • Undertake checks to ensure that the IAM platform is functioning correctly. This includes monitoring, daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checks, upgrades, and associated reporting.
  • Identification of trends and issues, raising and driving them to resolution.
  • Design, build and maintain workflows, integration with other systems access management/Business Processes and build certification campaigns in Sailpoint IdentityNow to meet compliance requirements.
  • Ensuring that IAM monitoring, and reporting is updated to support project changes.
  • Working on developing and maintaining the IAM testing program, schedule, and guidelines
  • Provide input into Information Security Governance, through framework, policy, standard, procedure updates.
  • Comply, contribute, and adhere to system administration and security policies and guidelines.
  • Provision of After-Hours support may be required from time to time.  In addition, there may be a need to schedule work out of the normal Monday-Friday business hours, to minimise impact upon the business.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is produced to communicate the technical environment.

 

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:

  • Essential - 3+ years’ experience working with and configuring/supporting SailPoint Identity access management solution 
  • Conceptual Software Engineering knowledge, ideally with a relevant degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Assurance etc)
  • Demonstrated technical experience with Identity and Access Management systems including: Azure Active Directory, Active Directory and SailPoint
  • Knowledge of federation standards including SAML and OAuth and storage filters such as RDBMS and LDAP
  • Hands on experience in implementing security technical controls related to Identity management toolsets, Web access management systems, Federated Identity management systems, and their supporting technologies
  • Experience in a large scale, multi-site enterprise working with IT Security control technologies
  • Proven success in improving quality, continuous improvement in a technology organisation
