The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning Assistant to join our Bridges team. The Financial Planning Assistant is responsible for all administrative functions related to supporting Financial Advisors in the provision of market-leading, client-centric advice and ongoing service to new and existing clients.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong trusted relationships with advisers and clients.
  • Facilitating the implementation of advice and coordinating relevant paperwork.
  • Liaising with clients regarding the implementation and management of their portfolios, Including liaising with fund managers.
  • Communicating with clients and responding to client enquiries.
  • Data entry into Xplan, ensuring Client Records in Xplan are up to date and reconciling Xplan reports.
  • Monitoring placement of investment advice/strategy until fully implemented.
  • Ensure client files in adherence with required quality and compliance standards.
  • Identify and support to implement improvements to compliance and financial planning processes.
  • General office administration


The successful candidate will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience in a Client Service role within the financial planning industry
  • Outstanding attention to detail and process driven
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with XPlan (Highly favourable)
  • Customer service orientated
  • High level of accuracy
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (RG146) is desirable.
